At 1 June, 2007, Swancor's charity to endow elementary school in impoverished mountain area was started form Bei-Shan township,Yu-Zhong county, Lan-Zhou city, Gan-Su province. It is China's emphatic endowment region. Swancor donated more than 500 book bags and stationery sets to three elementary schools, along with more than 3000 books. Vice general manager, Mr. Chien was presented the donate ceremony on behalf of the Chairman Mr. Robert Tsai. The chief of the town, school principal and government official representative spoke for those donatory children to convey their gratefulness. Mr. Chien also encouraged those students to study hard in order they will be able to contribute to the community and build up their hometown.

SWANCOR GOOD-BOND Putty, a new generation of styrene-free, two-component epoxy putty, officially launched in May. SWANCOR GOOD-BOND Putty features superior properties such as high viscosity, excellent adhesion, easy handling, no sagging, no cracking, etc. It can be applied by mixing with cement or gesso to provide a smooth troweling and quick-drying finish. SWANCOR GOOD-BOND Putty can work as primer and sealant on a wide range of substrates, including concrete, wood panels, ceramic materials, metals, marble, etc.

Swancor received a special mention certificate, along with its partner Indonesian fabricator PT. Gunang Putri Graha Mas, at the JEC Composites 2007 Innovation Program ceremony. The ceremony was taking place at Musee D'Orsay in Paris France, hosted by JEC Composites, in the evening of 3rd April 2007. PT. Gunang Putri was chosen due to the unique technology used to build two world's largest phosphoric acid storage tanks in 2006. The concentration was 85% and the volume was 5,000M3 (9,000MT) each. SWANCOR CHEMPULSE 901 epoxy vinyl ester resin was used in the project and FEMech Engineering (USA) was the designer for on-site vertical filament winding technology.
Swancor was very honored and proud to receive the certificate from the most famous and prestigious composites exhibition in the world. It also means Swancor resin quality is well accepted and recognized by the global composites industry.
